Our parish family is more than worship services alone. It is a living community united through fellowship, pilgrimages, educational activities for children and adults, mutual support, and the joy of Christian fellowship.
Together we grow in faith, strengthen one another spiritually, and share in the life of the Church as one family in Christ.
Would you like to become part of our parish family?
We are glad to welcome you as an active member of the Orthodox community of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victory-Bearer.
The Church is not only a place of prayer, but also a living spiritual family. To be a parish member means to participate in its life, support one another, and grow together in faith.
How to join:
1. Attend services: We are always happy to welcome new faces and open hearts.
2. Speak with the priest: The priest will answer your questions and bless your entrance into the parish.
3. Read the Parish Bylaws: 3. The Parish Bylaws set forth the principles upon which our common life, ministry, and mutual responsibility are founded. If you feel called to become part of our parish family and intend to apply for parish membership, we kindly ask that you read the Bylaws beforehand. With the blessing of the Rector, a copy of the Parish Bylaws may be obtained from the Parish Secretary.
4. Fill out the membership form: A simple step that allows you to officially become part of the parish family.
5. Monthly membership contribution: To support parish life, a monthly contribution of $10 per person is established. These funds are used for the needs of the church — services, candles, prosphora, building maintenance, and more.
6. How to contribute: Detailed information can be found in the “Donations” section or by contacting our parish treasurer, Oksana Meheriuk, phone: 587-707-0980.
