Our church, like any Orthodox parish, exists and grows thanks to the donations of parishioners and all kind-hearted people. Every contribution helps support divine services, maintain the church grounds, repair the building, and organize spiritual and educational activities.

How to Make a Donation to the Orthodox Church 

 

You can make a donation in one of the following ways: 

 

1. Cash or cheque
   Donations may be handed to:

2. e-Transfer (electronic transfer)

3. Through the “Donate” button on our website
   You may also make an online donation by clicking the “Donate” button on our website (at the bottom). Payments are processed through a secure platform, and you may choose the amount and purpose of your donation.

Please indicate the purpose of your donation when sending funds by any method. This helps us properly allocate the resources. Possible purposes include:

    • Church needs — supporting daily parish operations
    • New church construction fund — land purchase and building project
    • Membership contributions
    • Psalter and 40-day commemorations (Sorokoust)
    • Other purpose — please specify

 

Please also include your contact details (full name, phone number, or email) so we can correctly record your donation and contact you if needed. 

 

Tax Receipts

 

Our parish is registered in the province of Alberta and is authorized to issue official tax receipts for donations.

 

    • Tax receipts are issued annually (at the beginning of the following calendar year) and may be used for income tax filing in Canada.
    • To receive a tax receipt, you must provide your full name and mailing address.
