In our church, all major Orthodox divine services are celebrated, as well as the seven Holy Sacraments, through which the faithful are united with God and receive His grace. At the request of parishioners, special prayer services and blessings (treby) are also performed. These are prayers offered for various life situations, helping the faithful find spiritual strength and turn to God for help, guidance, and comfort.

 

We invite you to join us in prayer in our church — a place where the heart is filled with peace and the soul with God’s grace.

 

All divine services are celebrated with love and care for every soul seeking an encounter with God.

 

At our Orthodox church in Sylvan Lake, services are conducted in two languages:

 • Church Slavonic - the traditional language of Orthodox worship
 • English - so that every parishioner may understand the prayers and fully participate in the services 

 

Our Orthodox services in Sylvan Lake create an atmosphere of spiritual presence, prayer, and support for all the faithful.

Sermons during the Sunday Divine Liturgy are delivered:

 • in Russian with simultaneous English translation, or
 • in English with Russian translation

 

Regular Services:

 • All-Night Vigil - on the eve of Sundays and Great Feast Days
 • Divine Liturgy - every Sunday and on feast days
